Welcome December....

We plan on sucking the life out of you.  We will enjoy every day to its fullest.  We will get the shopping done early.  We will fa la la la la all day long to get in the spirit of the season.  We will be cheerful givers, and grateful receivers.  We will enjoy every last one of those many parties, of which we will be happy attenders.  We will show love to everybody, and remain patient with those who annoy us.  We will take the time to remember what Christmas is all about, and we will try, oh we will try, to not get lost in the commercialization.  We will wrap early, and often.  We will keep the house clean, and the children's faces shiny.  We will mix. bake, and distribute our delicious goodies, and we will not overindulge in any of them.  Do you hear me?  We will not overindulge.  And we will stay under budget.   And we will be so thankful that we have the opportunity to do all of it.  And, December, we will try to love every minute of you.  But all we can do is try.
