April...

March came in like a lion, and left like a lion as well.  April 1st brought snow and cold.  It kind of blows a hole in Al Gore's global warming theory.  Poor guy's DVD sales will probably plummet.  No matter.  We planted some raspberries and peas today.  We are holding out hope that they will blossom into some wonderful food for our little family.  At this point all we can do is hope, and weed, and pray.  Baseball practice is well underway, and we are hoping that the weather will warm up so we can enjoy the season, instead of just enduring it.  The snow does make the mountains look beautiful though.  We hope that it will offer us plenty of water for the summer.  There is a lot of hoping in this paragraph, but isn't that what April is all about?  The hope of something new...

I also hope it stops snowing, and warms up. I prematurely trimmed my roses 2 weeks ago thinking the "last freeze" had already happened. grr. hope they make it!

Thanks for sharing "HOPE". We need it. It would be nice not to have to just endure the baseball season.

I hope that you get a lot of raspberries too...maybe TOO many so you will have to share with neighbors?

The hope for something new that I have, is warm freaking weather. I am so sick of the snow. I am smarter than all of you and have not done ANY yard work, because I know how it is here in Utah, and because I am lazy :)

So far April sucks.

I love the below post about Taylor. She looks so grown up.

This is Paramedic Stone. I am so excited for Reed to be our Officer In Charge (OIC). One step closer to Captain. He will be such a great leader for our crew.
