says something to the effect that if you think things can't get any busier, they undoubtedly will. June has flown by with a lot of rain (a lot of rain), and some fun events. Grandma Glenda turned eighty earlier in the month and we got to celebrate with her and the rest of the family. It was so great to get together with everyone, and to enjoy her day with her.

We also went to the zoo with Reed's family and had a great time. Easton and Jane were a delight, and we found out that no matter how old you are, you are never to old to ride the merry-go-round at the zoo.

And baseball. We just keep going like the energizer bunny. We have been spending at least four nights a week at the baseball field and loving every minute of it, though we are about ready to be done. Taylor made the All-Star team so we have stepped up the practices with her. She just finished her tournament. They won the first game, but lost the second so that puts them out completely. It was a heartbreaker. Torey has been spending her time and money at the snack shack, and it is reported that she is a friendly and efficient little worker. Jake's team has defied all logic and odds, and still remains viable. This little team only won one game all season, but have come alive in the tournament. The first game they won by 8, and the second game they won by 1. So they will now be competing for a "beautiful trophy." Congratulations, Jake and the Mets!!!!

We thought for sure they would lose, so we went ahead and planned a different Saturday. After they return early from a Father's and Son's outing, we will be going to South Jordan so Reed can compete in a softball tournament, going on at approximately the same time. Throw in Girls Camp, a talk in sacrament meeting, two lessons, a trip to Idaho next week, and I am going to go crazy. Has your June been the same?

Someday the weather will give me reason to go to the zoo! Not today. Good job, Jake for presing on in the end. Congratulations to Taylor for being an ALL-STAR. Fantastic work Torey on your salesmanship at the candy shack! We witnessed your abilities and approved/appreciated your candy handling skills.
