I voted because I am a Freedom-loving American. I voted to have my voice heard. I voted to protect capitalism, and eschew socialism. I voted to honor my father, my uncles, my Grandfather's, my Great-Grandfather's and all of those men and women who have fought to ensure my freedom to cast my ballot. I voted to honor their memory and their sacrifice. I voted to preserve our military. I voted because my Great-Grandmother's could not. I voted to show my daughters and son that they should. I voted to say to my city that I do not want pork in my politics. I voted my principles. I Voted because I am a Patriot. Did you?

Today I voted....
I voted because I am a Freedom-loving American. I voted to have my voice heard. I voted to protect capitalism, and eschew socialism. Yes, I did too! I am not that excited about it though. I feel like our nation is in trouble... But, I still voted for the better of the candidates and for my local government...
Our student council did a " Mock Election'' . The ending score for our school was....

Yep! I voted stood in line for 5 minutes. Tried this morning and the line was out the library and down to lunchroom, which is on the other side of the school. Let's all hope they voted "correctly"
I voted but fear the result. I think our nation decided incorrectly. I hope not.
Yes I voted two weeks ago, our school also did a mock vote, unfortunatly somebody else won. but then again our ballots are in spanish also.
Last night Josie went to bed upset. "Obama lost, Mom!" I told her, I thought he might still have a chance. Little did I know she was an Obama fan. I think it all had to do with the elections at school! But he did in fact win, so we move forward.
