Friday Night Lights...

Last night was the Orem Owlz last game of the season, and because we had been given free tickets at the parade we decided we better use them.  We were lucky enough to be accompanied by Clint's family, as well as the Grandparents.  We had a great time, unlike several others who had to leave early due to being hit in the head with home run or foul balls.  Ouch.  There were several.

During the third inning a huge family decided that they would squeeze their party of twelve into the 1 ft. square space that existed between our blanket and our family's blanket.  Their children and I made fast friends as they took over my blanket, kicked me in the back, rested their bodies next to mine, and asked me endless questions about where to get the free stuff.  They even decided that as Reed was taking a picture of our family that they should be in it as well.  So, here is a picture of me with other people's kids and if you look really close you can see some of Reed's family in the far background.
The Owlz let the sixth inning get away from them so because necessity is the mother of invention Jake took a gum wrapper and wrote "GO OWLZ" on it and held it up as a symbol of encouragement.  Things turned around after the "rally wrapper" was introduced to the game, but because the deficit was so great the Owlz were not able to pull out a victory.  Unfortunate.
So that was our Friday night.  What did you do with yours?

A lot of fun was had by all- especially by our monkey boy Easton. I loved the picture of you with our new friends that sat on top of us at the game. Great memories.

I am glad you had such a good time. We went to a game once. Kinzie and I had fun, but the rest of them were bored. Oh well guess baseball isn't for everyone. We had a fun time at a wedding. NOT!
