Inspired.....

That is what I was last night as I watched the General Relief Society Broadcast from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  For more information click here.  Pres. Dieter F. Uchtdorf of the First Presidency gave the best talk to the women of the Church.  He managed to make us laugh, liberate us from the constraints we put on ourselves, inspire us, motivate us, and help us to be better wives and mothers.  I know that he is called of God to help lead us in these Latter-days, and I am so glad that I was able to strengthen my testimony by listening to him.  What did you think?

P.S.  My great friend, Alice, was able to sing in the choir and they did an amazing job as well!

I loved president uchdorfs talk too. I love the spirit that comes through his deep voice. I wish I would have looked closer at the choir.

Loved President Uchdorf's talk. He is such an inspiring man. I really appreciated his thoughts on how we as women have the capacity to create and have compassion. It's in our natures and in that way we are truly like our Father in Heaven. I, too, enjoyed how liberated it made me feel. Removing the restraints that tell me that I can't, and letting me know I can.

I also liked what he said about not being discouraged to do things because it won't be just right. I call it the discouraged perfectionist. Sometimes I get that a little to much. Now I am more empowered to start doing what the Lord needs us to do.
