My name is Natilie and I am an addict. Yes, you heard me right, I have no will power and what's worse, no desire to change. What is it that sings to me like Bella's blood sings to Edward you ask? It is the Cadbury Mini Egg. That's right, the devil is a tiny milk chocolate egg wrapped in sugary goodness. I picked up two bags Saturday and though I did not eat all of them (darned family) I did eat most of them. What's worse is that I hold them partly responsible for the great kidney wars of 1999. I know that doesn't make much sense but I am convinced that the sugary shell does not digest like it should thus depositing in my blessed organs and causing much pain and turmoil. The Cadbury Mini Egg has also decided to spite me because I used to only have to deal with my addiction once a year at Easter time. That is no longer the case. Did anyone notice that around Christmas time they introduced Christmas ball shapes? Alas, they know I cannot resist and so they prey on my vulnerability. I need to change. My body is crying out for some carrot sticks. The organs are on chocolate overload. That's it. No more partaking of heaven enclosed in a sugary shell with little robin egg like specks for me. I am turning over a new leaf, I will survive this Easter season unscathed. I can do it!
So that's it.... admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery.
P.S. Does anyone know a girl scout? I need some Samoa's.

I hear ya- I just went to Target to pick up a few things and I ended up spending way to much on Easter candy. I love Easter candy. It is my favorite. I love the big Cadbury eggs.
Your last post made me laugh. My week last week was just like that.I think Mike thought I was going crazy. I think for me it was being inside for way to long. It was so nice to wake up to blue skies the last 2 mornings. Can't wait for spring.
Nat- at least you did share with the fam. I'm a closet eater... I sneak it so I don't have to share and then I eat the entire bag myself (Hence the reason I'm 40lbs over weight). In my guilt this week I did buy a bushel of fruit from the door to door salesman and I'm feeling much better. These apples and oranges are so scruptious that I can't stop inhaling them. Better them than easter candy (I have a small addiction to ALL chocolate, sugar, and junk food in general)

I have a little stash of the same in my cupboard, so if you find yourself in a moment of weakness, come on over! No help, am I! I should take that step.
I am with you on the whole candy thing. I didn't used to be this way. I think staying home all day, does it to you. You get board(NOT that you don't have a million things to do:Laundry, cleaning, feeding, diapers.) You need one moment of pleasure. I say go with it. At least you look great, you still look like you did when you guys go married.

Nat - Jesse calls them the Devil's Seeds. And this is no joke, he brought home $18 worth of Cadbury Mini Eggs last week. Three big (BIG) bags. We've gone through one, and have 2 in the freezer. I think his thought was to have them year round, but they wont last the Easter season! Their awful, and so wonderfully wonderful at the same time! Congrats on taking the first step toward recovery and I wish you good luck! I feel partly to blame as I was the one who brought them to your attention this year. So Sorry!
Thanks to our conversation yesterday, when I went to the store I had to throw a York Peppermint Patty in the cart (I already had the Cadbury eggs at home). They were 3 for $1 and I couldn't pass that up! :)
