LeAp DaY!!!!

What do you do when the "calendar people" or is it the ancient Romans?!?! provide you with an extra day in the year.  If I were a very exotic person I would think of something amazing to do with this gift of an extra day.  Maybe I would vacation, do something wild and crazy, or just use the day to sleep.  I could go buy my favorite foods and dedicate the day to watching all my favorite movies.  (Last of the Mohicans, Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion - lots of chick flicks).  If my husband were home I would have an adventure or two with him.  Oh, how I wish I could spend the day reading a really fantastic book....I love to read!  As it is I have a massive, and I mean humongous pile of laundry to fold, dishes to hand wash (dishwasher still broken - going on 6 months now), a 6 year old to ship off with Grandpa (yeah for Grandpa Day!), an eleven year old to get ready to go to space camp (first sleepover-I am nervous), and an eight year old to heap lots of love on (She deserves lots of love, she is so sweet).  While I have three hours to myself I will purge the mess that I call a bedroom and take loads of junk to Deseret Industries hoping against hope that it does not get purchased and returned to my home.  Some of you know what I am talking about.  Does anyone else hang on to stupid stuff?  I still have a couple of shirts from high school that I hang on to for who knows why.  Am I the only one?  Anyway, when my room is done I will fold laundry and watch "Becoming Jane" which my husband was so sweet to rent for me.  I am lucky to have him!  And that people is how I will spend my "free" day which is doled out to me every four years.  Not very exotic, but Oh! how good it will feel to have purged my bedroom.  I hope Reed doesn't have a heart attack when he sees the laundry is folded and our room is clean.  The chances are great that the surprise will kill him.  Let's hope for the best.  I will update you on the results --or maybe not.  Oh yeah, are any of you doing something special with your free day?
