Thankful Thursday!

Thanks for the idea Torie!!!

This is a list of the things that we are thankful for this week!!!

1.  After taking medicine that has kept me up four nights in a row I am thankful that Jake and I had a very long nap.  And I mean a long nap!!! Thanks, Jake.

2.  Torey says we are thankful that Dad has a job, and that he LOVES it.  That has been a great blessing in our family.

3.  Jake says we are thankful for our home.  It keeps us warm, and we have electricity for lights so it can light up.  If you are asking me the "lighting up" comes from the kids.

4.  Taylor says we are thankful for our family because we are always there for each other and if we didn't have each other she would be lonely and she wouldn't be able to take care of herself.  And we love each other.

5.  We are grateful for a new prophet.  President Monson will do a fantastic job.  Reed and I were discussing how he was one of our favorites during the Seminary years.  And if any of you know how Torey became a legend in primary you will know why we were delighted with the choice of Pres. Uchtdorf as counselor.

6.  We are thankful for the snow.  It has been great for the kids to see what a real winter finally looks like.  We are also grateful that Reed bought a new snow shovel.  Not so impressed, however, with his Nazi-like attitude about not driving on the driveway until the snow is cleared and his anal 3 hour long shoveling process that he undertakes.  Give it a rest man - it looks good enough!!!!
