Well we didn't actually picnic but we had a fantastic time anyway. The city puts on a little carnival for the citizens and we enjoyed every minute of it. They had a rock climbing wall and little games for the kids where they could win multiple prizes. We would love to share some of the pictures of the event. Here are the kids climbing the wall. Reed missed this part because he was at an extrication. I am a little sad, but a whole lot glad about that. Sad because he missed seeing the kids climb the wall like spider monkeys, but glad because if he saw these kids in the harnesses and climbing that wall he might picture the next generation of heavy rescue technicians and I am just here to say I am not having it. I repeat - I am NOT having it. (Last sentences directed to one reader in particular). Anyway, enjoy your day because we are enjoying ours!
